Thanks to the woke progressives, we have newer terms to describe anatomy.
Here's the article, 'A cervical cancer charity has defended its publication of a glossary that included the term “bonus hole” as an alternative to vagina.
The glossary, by Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust, is designed to make health professionals aware of terms that trans men and non binary individuals may choose to use in place of the usual medical labels.
It also says “front hole” can be an alternative word for the vagina, adding: “It is important to check which words someone would prefer to use.” Clinicians have been concerned that the NHS cervical screening programme may miss trans or non binary people.
In some cases this will be because the gender on their medical record does not match their biology, but researchers have also found problems posed by poor training of medical professionals.
A 2017 study published in the British Journal of General Practice found that people were put off by information materials that did not seem to include them. Others reported worries about the screening process triggering gender dysphoria, or distress because of a mismatch between their biological sex and gender identity. The information from Jo’s says that using the correct language when referring to someone’s gender identity “is a simple and effective way to demonstrate support and recognition”, while the alternative might push people away from services.
Jo’s was set up by the London businessman James Maxwell in memory of his wife, Jo, who died aged 40 from cervical cancer in 1999.
Caroline Ffiske, founder of Conservatives for Women, told Mail Online the terms “bonus hole” and “front hole” were “utterly dehumanising”.
Kellie-Jay Keen, founder of Standing For Women, told the website: “The whole thing is loathsome, but ‘bonus hole’ and ‘front hole’ are so misogynist.” She said that the glossary amounted to erasure of female language.
A statement from the charity said: “We are aware that some of our online information is currently attracting significant attention. The information being shared is from a webpage written for health professionals to support trans men and/or non-binary patients with a cervix to attend cervical screening. The page includes a glossary of terms they may hear from their patients and was developed with expert organisations who work with the LGBT community. The page is not promoting the use of these phrases with all women, it is a list of phrases that nurses may hear some patients prefer.
“Our mission at Jo’s is to prevent as many cervical cancers as possible, and a big part of that is increasing uptake of cervical screening. Women are our main audience at Jo’s, however some trans men and/or non-binary people have cervixes and to reduce as many cervical cancers as possible it is important that we also provide information for this group and the health professionals who support them.”

Bonus or Front Hole: Up to You
We make our world significant by the courage of our questions and by the depths of our answers.
Re: Bonus or Front Hole: Up to You
Good to see the old "front bum" debate thriving.
As my Yorkshire mate chose to remind us before a lads night out, "When it's dark and you're well hammered, don't forget that it's the second hole from the back of the neck."
