Thai Bank Interest Rates?

Post by johnbarryseven » May 22, 2007, 5:50 am

Does anyone know what the current Bank Interest rate in Thailand? Have some capital and thought about putting it somewhere so I could get a small return on it?

Some current deposit rates for THB:
If your money is currently outside of Thailand you would probably be better leaving it outside Thailand and investing it there.

Once money is in Thailand it can be a big problem getting it out again :(

Thanks for posting Jimbo.

Looking at those rates I won't bother with investing in Thailand.
I'll keep the bulk outside Thailand and just have a Thai account for day to day expenses and enough in the account to keep the immigration police happy.
Is it a good idea to keep 10% of a nest egg in Gold?

Ok I know absolutly nothing about investing but yuo might want to take look at this, then ask someone here on the board that knows what they are doing, just an alternative I happen to run across
