and not me, coz im non resident and cant even get a fooking pension when im 65, but we pay the Brits pension top ups coz the UK government freeze them , once they move to Oz.

nothing against the Brits, but .....

Why does the Oz government pay for another countries pensioners when they wont pay for their own .

Gravity is not the only thing that sucks

I would guess that Australia has a reciprocal agreement with the Poms, whereby we pay the pension of the poms resident in Oz, and they pay the pensions of the Oorstrayuns resident in Pommieland.

Same system is in place for a number of other countries.

The pensions of the Aussies are paid by the Oz government as they are indexed.

The Poms pensions are frozen once they leave the UK and we top them up. It was a 1 sided affair going back to Thatcher days.
