UK Prepaid Post Office Travel Currency card

Hello all

Would like to ask if anyone on here has recent experience with a UK Prepaid Post Office Travel Currency card?
I usually come with cash as I know is preferred at most places in and around Isaan but I do have concerns for security
I was looking at the possibility of obtaining one of these cards before I come again in September and was wondering if they will incur the same ATM charges my UK Bank debit card does?
I use a credit card for car hire etc but would be useful to not have so much cash on me or in my safe when in hotels
Any sensible info would be greatly appreciated Gents
