Where have all the ELECTRICIANS gone, long time passing...?

Post by tamada » October 22, 2009, 12:40 pm

OK, getting a short fuse here... literally, so instead of asking on existing threads which seem to be falling on deaf ears, here we go.

Do you have a good electrician that you can rely on to do half-decent but safe wiring jobs on your house? Name and phone number is good enough as I can communicate what I want done (just point out the burned and melted bits). I used a chap last year who is now working in the mid-east so need someone that a fellow foreigner has had a good experience with.

Thanks in advance and if you respond to this with the goods, please also post it in the 'recommended tradesmen' type sticky that the Admin have set up for us at the head of this section... although the echo's in there are deafening.

Khun Prasert. Speaks only a bit of English but understands electricity. 089-940-0093. If that doesn't work, let me know.

He rewired our electrical box and isolated two shorts in our home. He seems much more competent than most other electicians we've hired/seen.

For what it is worth, i used the chaps who installed Safe T-cut boxes in the house, they seem to fairly competent, get them to install the box and then when it kleeps blowing after they have installed they will find the fault and fix that too, maybe a bit more cash, but then you also hae a safety cut out as well, numbers see them around, sorry seem to have lost the number.
