this is not about what i like .......the metalroof is what i use to protect my self from the sun and when it is raining i hang my laundry there...he he. By the way this metalroof is more expensive than other ones wich get rosty after 2 months and the konstruktion is very very strong and needs only 4 light ironcollums to hold it up. As it has weel i have fix the roof to the wall so the wind not force it in to my pool..........the idea is to present coasts of different kind of buildings......cause it looks like many people on this forum being scammed about the buildingprices they been offerd...

I meen......you can built a cod 8 collum house for 120 K and somebody been offerd to built a 6 collum carpark for 250 up 300 K.........so the idea is to show the real world her!

recently had an outdoor area built, not sure of the area but if changed into a carport like shape it would easily fit 2 cars, cement floor tiled (with the most expensive tiles the wife could find in Udon), section of house roughly 8x6m tiled for thai kitchen with a tiled cement bench with 4 cupboards installed (once again not cheapo tiles), also a tiled roof with a steel frame and 4 cement rendered posts about 4 1/2 metres high ( the other side is bolted to the house) plasterboard ceiling with lighting installed also three power sockets installed and everything painted of course. Not bad standard of workmanship and all up 150000baht which i thought having looked at the cost of the materials was not a bad price Kopkei have to agree with you i wouldnt pay 37000baht for Kjellsnells project.

Kopkei,
I was the one who started this post, the question was,how much to build a carport to my specifications.
After receiving replies, all I said was I was expecting to pay about 250,000,glad to hear what I should be looking at. The other guy that mentioned 250,000 to 300,000 was only passing on quotes he had received.
I don't think you'll end up getting a pic of a 300,000 baht carport,as now we have had replies to tell us both that is way over the top, we'll be looking to have them built for a reasonable price

Yea... thats wy i give some exampels of biuldingcoast....by the way...i give wrong price at the roofexampel, it was 27 000 and 37 000.....this roof i by as a smart and fast solution of sunprotektion at poolside at sunkraan last year. Now i am going to move this roof and use it....as a carport for my Toyota Commuter instead. And at the poolside i will biult a more like openroom for barberque and relaxing, whit roof and 3 colloms. I will use my ordinary wall as the backside collums as the wall is very strongly builted and then put 3 collums in front. I hope that this projekt will stay just around 50 000 bath depending on what roof i will use...maybe pot slidingdoors in front to.
