House building costs

Post by Kodok » November 17, 2012, 6:33 am

Hi everyone,

I have been living outside Udon Thani with my wife for a couple of years and the time has now come to build our own house. Just to give you an idea about what I am looking for you can check the following link:

This particular bungalow is about 75sqm and would be quite enough for our needs. My question to you readers out there is how much you think such a building would cost? From what I have been reading on the internet I am guessing that 15-20.000 baht/sqm should be enough. I would however very much appreciate to hear someone elses opinion. Preferrably someone who is living in or around Udon Thani. If you had a look at my link I should mention that I am only talking about the main house, not the pool area also shown in some of the pictures.

Best of luck,

/K

You want a house with one huge bedroom combined as living-room but no kitchen? The bathroom is big but there is still only one.
The building cost is very much depending on what material you use but with 12-20.000B/m2 you should be well covered if not luxurious.
