Yes indeed the thread is called Housing Projects unfortunately that has long been abandoned.

Now it has become not only tedious reading but a pissing match with the contestants rehashing the same old, same old points for some two hundred and eighty posts all trying to prove a narrow point of view that really has nothing to do with housing estates but the way they think we all should be living. IMHO.

It's been a couple of years since there has been any response to this thread. There were many strong opinions on the topic of housing estates and their value or lack of. I'm interested to know if any of the newer estates have kept original quality, at the time of purchase, or if they have slowly deteriorated once the developers moved out and how has it affected resale value.

Heard that 1 project near Romyen, has gone under after they have sold the properties, No security, cleaning etc now

Its normal practice for the developer to do this , so they wipe their hands of it all

The owners wont all pay the community costs for the estate etc, so overnight the crooks can move in for the burglary etc
