Land Tax

Post by FrazeeDK » May 6, 2015, 11:29 am

ah, but the assessment is on-going, partly finished with the Treasure Department funded to complete it.. I'd just like to know who is doing it, how its being done and if Chanote holders will be informed in writing of precisely what Treasury says their land/house is worth officially... The land tax law that was pending was quashed quite quickly, all because they didn't want the less well off folks to suffer any financial issues.. Yeah right.. You can bet the impetus to hold off on that law was from those very large and wealthy landowners who would have ended up paying tens of millions of baht in taxes.. Much like the estate tax law that's died a pretty quiet death...

My house is financed so I have never paid a land tax, maybe I pay it through the bank a part of my monthly payment, no clue?
I reserve the right to be wrong, mispell words type badly. leave words out of sentences because my mind works faster then my fingers. To be an OLD GIT I've earned it

latest info on land tax and value assessments.. Once again, the tax law changes are likely to languish indefinitely as it would definitely impact on the very rich the most.. http://www.bangkokpost.com/business/new ... tax-cheats
