I live in Baan Hansa. Been here for five years, apart from dogs some times loud music all is OK, except if you think that you have brought your nice quite home in a nice residential area , there does not seem to be any regulations about what you can do with your home. The home opposite mine has been turned into a warehouse , I have to put up with a forklift truck working all hours in the road unloading big trucks, and vans turning up all hours, there is also a truck and vans parked in the street making it hard to drive into the homes. My wife would not let me complain when it first started, said not good too.

You should be having the monthly gatherings at one of your residences than the Night Market.

The Thais in Udon call the estate 'the farang estate'. 8)

Ooh you saucy Devil, BM - that should raise house prices on the Estate (and a few blood pressure levels).

How come I always end up with the fat one?

Is Baan Hansa a bit noisy being in town near the Napoli?

Gosh, I didn't read the map right, it's further out than what I thought. Should be able to find it though, just follow all the dicky birds to Saint's worm infested front garden.

Ban San Sa Ran (Lake Garden City) is also nicknamed Bann Farang, by the locals.
Phase C is not finished yet, and there are, so I've been told by the girls in sales office, 70 farangs living on the Moobaan, so far.

Hi,
Got a friend that lives there he likes the place. The estate has got a swimming pool, tennis courts and kids swings slides etc.. My friend is in a dead end street, Soi 2, and it is very quite there. Except for the dogs and the flight path to the airport. I was going to buy a house there 4 years ago. The only thing that put me off was all there built houses at the time had a split level living room, this i do not like, for other people this could be fine, and i wanted a house quickly.
I finally bought a house, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms at Maliwan Villa on the ring road about 1km passed electricity place. Hansa same type houses were wanting 1.4MB mine costs 0.98MB. at the time.
Best thing is to go there and have a good look around.
Cheers Doug. Hope you find what you want.

Hello everybody,

some new information, I like this. We are searching a house for holiday reason only, therefore, I thought a housing development would be the best choice. There are so many different housing projects in Udon at the moment , that makes it not easy to decide. I heard several times, that some of you want to sell, respectively, know people who like to sell their home in Udon.

I appreciate any offer or/and further comments on this topic.

Thank You

Hi, I have some questions for you who live in Baan Hansa.
Me and my Thai partner think it looked nice on the website.
1) What about the burglary in the houses, it happens?
It is so that we will not stay there all year round.
2) Is it a good area, clean, etc.?
3) Is the pole clean and works with the cleaning?
4) Will it work with the guards, so not everyone can go in and out as they please?
5) How large is the land around the house?
6) Would nice to see pictures of the area a bit more than the home side have.
Yes there were some questions hope someone replies soon.
Send pm if it is better.
