Condo Investments in Bangkok

Some UdonMap readers may have interest in investing in Bangkok condos. I am not promoting this particular project, though received first notice of it today and was surprised by what I saw...it is situated toward the back of Sukumvit Soi 11 where the road turns toward Bumrungrad Hospital, this is already a very densely built up area with only narrow sois going back there. The actual site is where the Penthouse Hotel was located which was already torn down. The starting price per square meter is 140,000 baht.

The email subtitle said "GREEN BUILDING CONCEPT" however when you see in the promotional video how the unit owner is going to park his car (and what car) it is hard to understand the green aspect of it:

Then there is this parking concept, for mere mortals residing in the building:

And this real life example of the parking system from Singapore:

Bangkok is running out of space, and sure getting expensive to buy into a new condo.

Condo Investments in Bangkok

At least one shopping center in Naha, Japan (Okinawa) had the 'mere mortal' designed parking lot back in the early 80's. It seemed to work very efficiently.

As for the parking idea at the condo, wonder what'd happens when everyone heads off to work/school in the morning?
