What time does the Friendship brige border crossing close?

I know this question has been asked dozens of times, but for the life of me, I was not able to find a recent posting on this topic. Does anybody know what time the border closes?

Also think it is 10 PM, though I would plan on 8 PM, just to be on the safe side. Conflicting post on different websites. Maybe a phone call to the limo service at airport, for accurate info. Though may tell you anything, just to get you in the limo.......LOL

Not sure about closing.. but on opening..
It officially opens at 8 am. however it is physically opens at 6am.
The Laos side (not sure about the Thai) charge you extra (I think it is 20 baht/ $1) if you want to be processed during those two hours..
Maybe it is the same with closing & hence the confusion & two different times..

As above, 8 to be safe. We recently picked someone up coming from Vientiane who got there about 7 am (on a Sunday mind you) and sat around for nearly an hour before there was anyone working in immigration on the Laos side. As for night time we've never gone over after dark.

The only reason I posted '10PM' is because I have actually asked them... on the Thai side.
I used to do my border runs at around 7pm to avoid any queues, although this was a couple of years back so things may have changed.

6AM-10PM daily.. however, on the Lao side you might have to wake up the guy in the booth if it's right after 6!!
