France v Nigeria
Argentina v Mexico
England v Serbia
Germany v USA
Holland v Paraguay
Italy v Denmark
Brazil v Switzerland
Spain v Portugal

Don't know if I want to predict any further than this....

Not really looked too closely yet, but will do some predictions nearer the date.

If anyone is interested I will arrange a "predict the score" comp for the world cup (similar to the one running in Udon for the premier league).

It will be "just for fun" ...... no prizes (exept bragging rights).

You predict the score of each match with the following points awarded:-

Correct result (home/away/draw) 3pts
Correct goals for home team 1pt
Correct goals for away team 1pt
Correct spread (ie; away team winning by 2 goals) 1pt
Bonus point for predicting right result 1pt
Extra Bonus point for predicting correct score if 5 or more goals. 1pt

Total available for each match 8 pts

It seems to work well with the premier league, with most months going down to the last game or two before we get a WINNER.

by the way it's a lot harder than it looks !!

just back from the not so sunny uk, and i can tell you that for once the feeling that we really have a chance this time is being backed be a majority of people (yes every time). But even our cousin for far away believe they have a hope in hell chance (and they really are useless) so if the mighty football nations that be australia and the useless sorry i mean the US of A think they have a chance, let all the english believe, this could be the time
