The worst news to arise from the weekend is that the mighty Brechin City fell 1-0 to Fraserburgh F.C. Upsets happen. The good news is that the Scottish Feeder League is back in action, which means another lopsided victory for Carnoustie-Panmure as they edged Kirriemuir, 2-1.

Scottish Cup action added to the disappointment of the day as Dundee United only managed a 2-2 draw with Queen of the South, and the latter squad won the round, 4-3. The orange and black were noble, brave and unsuccessful.
