Sad to see this once proud thread has now fallen into neglect, with its spiritual leaders Jumbo and statts taking sabbaticals, and Irish Alan seeming to have lost interest.
As an Aussie, on one level I can understand, as soccer is a profoundly boring spectacle - dominated as it is by 0-0 draws and flamboyant diving. But surely one or more of the forum Poms can drag their mind(s) away for a few minutes from obsessing about Prince Harry and Princess Meghan, and get the thread back on track.
I do note that the Liverpool seconds from Goodison have fallen back into the red zone, which may or may not be a good thing, depending on your perspective.

Those guys have given up wasting their time on the Evertons, the Manchester teams, Newcastle, Coventry City and Scunthorpe ever since the appearance and popularity of the Scottish soccer thread.

Re: EPL 2023/24
Congratulations to Manchester United for their 2-1 victory over Manchester City in the FA Cup. It seemed to be an exciting match, well, based on the highlights, it was a thriller.
Congratulations to Manchester City for winning the League.
Well done Manchesters!
