Aberdeen bags another three points with a 3-1 home win over St Mirren that wasn't as convincing as the score line suggests nor as assertive as their season opener against St Johnstone.

However, that's 5 wins out of 5 across all competitions under the new manager.

Aberdeen 1-0 over Queens Park to secure a Cup quarter-final spot. 6 wins from 6 in all comps.

Peterhead 1-0 over Stranraer for 3 wins from 3 and top of the table.

Peterhead held Spartans, fellow promotion playoff challengers last season, to a goalless draw in Edinburgh. The Bluemoganers are still league leaders by one point.

Aberdeen strolled past Kilmarnock 2-0 to make it 7 from 7 in all competitions.

In the meantime, both Rangers and Celtic have been putting big scores against lower-order teams, bolstering their GD superiority early on. Thus Celtic are topping the Dons, each with 9 points.

Peterhead put 4 past Edinburgh City for none against so sitting pretty at the top.

Aberdeen won again with the only goal of the game against the Stagies coming in 90+8.

That's their first win of the season ANYWHERE as they languish at the bottom of the Scottish Premiership.

A very good start by Aberdeen as well.
The sheep up in the north east of Scotland looking a bit more relaxed, still having lots of sex but not getting beaten up at the end.

Aberdeen on a roll, beating arch rivals Rangers at Pittodrie AT LAST. Watched a video of the pre-game, crowd warm-up and it was electrifying. The scoreline could easily have been better but for a bit of profligacy. That's something they can well do without if goal difference is going to be a deciding factor.

Once again, the unruffled new manager doing the Scandinavian stoicism bit at the post-game with, "One game at a time."

Aberdeen beat Dundee last Saturday to momentarily go top of the Scottish Premiership. However, Celtic won their late kickoff game to retake the top spot on goal difference.

Peterhead's hard-fought win against Stirling Albion saw them top League Two after unexpected losses by front-runners East Fife and Elgin City.
