Foster has been passed fit,Galee.Hope you havent picked Hennessey of Wolves as one of your goalies as he's rated very doubtful.
Vidic and Evans out for United but Brown and Neville likely to be fit.
For Liverpool,Benitez hopes Carragher and Skrtel will be fit....Agger unlikely to play.
Gerrard is more complex. If the match was today he'd be unlikely to play but, apparently, has a good chance of playing some part of the game on Sunday according to Benitez.
Personally I think all you guys should take a chance on him ! \:D/ :D

Following a suggestion from one of the FU players, I've started the FU H2H league.

The format of H2H (Head to Head) is as follows.

Head-to-Head

Each gameweek you will play a match against another team in the league, with a match result based on game scores. 3 points will be awarded for a win and 1 point for a draw. In the event of a tie, the team with the most game points will be positioned higher.

Optionally, a head-to-head league may end with a knock-out stage where the league winner is decided by a final match in the last gameweek.

Due to the short time scale I have arranged the H2H league to start on Gameweek 3. Hope that doesn't muck anything up. There's 16 of us in the FU league. Will be a nice number for the H2H if everyone joins up.

The code to join is 51898-280620

Thanks Gary I'm in head to head now. (Sounds kinky!) Now I can crash and burn in another league. :(

Warwick Hunt has a ruthless streak. Gerrard out already before a ball is kicked, Lampard in.

I see in the real football world the first managerial casualty has been announced.....Bryan Gunn of Norwich
Last Saturday Norwich were hammered 7-1 at home by Colchester but bounced back in midweek beating Yeovil away 4-0 in the League Cup.It was AFTER THIS VICTORY Gunn was sacked !
I could understand if they sacked him after the Colchester match but to do it after an excellent away victory makes no sense.
If they were going to get rid of him why didnt they do it after the end of last season when they were relegated. Why keep him on for another 3 months ?
I think maybe the board, including Delia Smith, should be given their marching orders as well.

So,a harsh sacking unlike that of German coach Hans Upperkunt of Crash Test Dummies a couple of weeks ago after an unsavoury incident in the cosmetics area at Robinsons. Its obvious 61 year old men and 19 year old girls is not a good mix ! [-X

Anyway, good luck in the Udon Fantasy League everyone.Times about up for changing your teams 8-[

Yeah, I noticed...
Same as last year as well, pick a player from a team I do not know (Hull) squad number 10, their top midfild points scorer last season, fighting fit...on the bench... ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

I tried to steer clear of Hull men.....but had to get 1 as he was cheep as chips, but he will probably mostly be a 3rd sub until something better comes along and i have increased the teams value.

Oh well, nice to start the season as I mean to go on. Lampard captain does nothing, double up points, 8 max.
But I would guess I am not alone

Drogba a good choice with 24 points !
After day 1 its....
1.souness 61
2.brian ?? 46
3.I.A. 42
4.b.m. 40

Man United v Birmingham and Tottenham v Liverpool tonight.
I've got Torres and Keane as my strikers so hoping for a 3-3 draw with them both getting hat tricks.
Kuyt, man of the match and three assists will do nicely ,thank you ! [-o<

So far not a good start for me. Thank goodness I switched Ab Faye out for Shawcross at the last minute. Usual story for me, wrong captain. Had Drogba in my team for weeks and weeks. ](*,)
Didn't see the Arsenal result coming. Will have to keep an eye out for them.
Fair dues to Souness, looks like he's the one to beat again. Just don't know how he does it. :-k
I notice some players don't have 11 players available for GW2, so hopefully i can make some some inroads on those at the top of the league.
P.S. I have put the start of the H2H back to GW4. Gives everyone time to join and still get the 30 fixtures in.
