Well,no shock at Old Trafford and no celebrating in Nong Khai last night.....probably no electricity after Lukakus second goal either ! When you consider Neymar cost 200 million,Lukaku looks a bit of a steal in comparison .
Martial and Pogba got Uniteds other goals against a poor West Ham side whose manager,Slaven Bilic, must be under pressure already.

In the other game I thought referee,Andre Marriner, got two key decisions the wrong way around.Shelvey should only have been yellow carded for cynically standing on Dele Alis ankle but two minutes later Ritchie commited a shocking foul from behind on the same player and should have seen red......two wrongs did make a right on this occasion.
Once Newcastle were down to 10 men there was only going to be one winner.Ali and Davies scored the goals and Kane hit the post and had a goal disallowed as The Spuds threatened to run riot.

Newcastle 0 Spuds 2
Manchester United 4 West Ham 0

By the way if Barcelona have offered 120 million for Coutinho then I think Liverpool should sell.
They could use the money to strengthen that still very shaky defence plus replacing Coutinho with another attacking midfielder.....just sayin :D

ZID SAID=''By the way if Barcelona have offered 120 million for Coutinho then I think Liverpool should sell.

They could sign Van Dijk and Sigurdsson which would have the bonus effect of pissing off Everton ! :D
James Milner was a makeshift left back last season but did OK.Bringing back Moreno weakens your defence,if anything.

Don't think Shelvey has any excuses after what he did ....... I'm assuming in Mariners mind it was a yellow for the stand (certainly not a stamp, and no way was it going to cause any serious injury), and a second for being so friggin' stupid.
BUT........ (I assume as you didn't mention it Zid, you nipped out for a cuppa and missed it), the scything scissor tackle from Kane which could easily have broken a leg, gets a yellow :-& :-$
Can only assume Mariner has Kane in his fantasy footie team

PS .....Pi**ed off with Pogba  Had Man U down to win 3 - 0

You are correct, statto. :D I went to get a beer from the fridge and missed Kanes tackle. But looking at the replay it was clumsy and reckless but only deserved a yellow imo. :badteeth:

According to Andy Gray ..... "Borderline Red" According to Rafa RED

If Cahills challenge was a Red then Kanes was a Red Plus.

Florian Lejeune will be out for weeks with ankle ligament damage.

Everton have agreed a deal to sign Swansea City midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson for a fee believed to be about £45m.
I would imagine they can now put away their much lighter wallets. All in all not too bad a transfer window, a few players high on the wish list of rival clubs were snapped up. eg: Pickford, Keane and Sigurdsson.Looks like the Spine of the team. Oh, and they offloaded Gareth (Yellow Card record holder) Barry to WBA for a pittance.A matter of time to see if the new boys can gel. I know there's a good few of you out there hoping that won't be the case. Citeh and Chelski away next in the EPL to get the juices flowing.
