I believe Gail Tilsley was pushed down the stairs by her pschyco son,David Platt, and hospitalised a month or two back so it might be that she also is unable to take her place in your Fantasy team.
Gail Tilsley......not so much a fantasy but a nightmare !! :D :D

Yeah but she took it ALL on the chin....no wait a minute she got no chin..and she always reminds me of an Onion. ;)

worked out the capt bit when i noticed capt'ns were geting double bubble points...ok so i let you in for a tip, so where can i find CONFIRMED team line ups before 11.30am deadlines...? fooked up on Carew last week..thought he was out but he was IN could of had extra points too.
I use 365com but teams only come up 30 minutes before a game, and club sites don't seem to have it.

I have now thrown a few cups, made a few transfers and hope for better things to come.

In doing so, I thought, perhaps unnecessary to have an expensive 'second' keeper? Ok, you MAY have wanted to change if expecting to concede some goals against Man U/Chelsea, but providing No 1 is quality, he hopefully(unlike outfield players) will avoid injury and feature in nearly all games.

I suppose that's guaranteed Friedel breaking a finger now!

OK, I admit it. A bit of mis-information on the hope that you would weaken your team. 8)

Last I heard he hasn't trained this week but will be available for selection this Saturday. I've kept him in my team, but he may be automatically sub'd if he doesn't play. :D

You naughty boy... :fryingpan: :fryingpan: :fryingpan:

Carlton Cole was done for drunk driving and has a dodgy foot... What a transfer that was. What's the betting I bring back Zoltan (hound of Dracula) Gera to replace "Blow into this" Cole and the drunk gets a hat-trick.

Ya just can't win.

Split loyalties.....

Do any of you guys in the Fantasy Football League now have split loyalties between the players in your team and the real Premiership scores ?
For example, last night I got myself a jug of Beer Chang and settled down to watch the Everton v Liverpool game.Naturally,as a United fan,I started off wanting Everton to have a resounding victory.(sorry I.A. & souness).
However,as the game progressed I thought about Carragher and Torres in my already misfiring Fantasy team whereas I had no Everton players.
Obviously if Everton were to win 4-0 it would do my Fantasy team no good at all.Carragher is actually my star performer !
I found myself cursing Mike Riley when he booked Torres for an innocuos challenge but felt quite happy when Torres then scored a couple to give Liverpool a comfortable victory.
So no goals conceded for Carragher and two scored by Torres.......great for my Fantasy team but not so good for Man Utd in the real world with Liverpool winning again !
Has anyone else had similar thoughts in the matches played so far this season ?
Obviously any Man United result would take precedence over anything else.At least Ronaldo is back in both the Fantasy and real world for some of us. :D
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

Agree 100% Zidane. Although (because of trying to keep to the 100 mill.) I didn't actually select any players from Pool & only 1 from Chelsea - just because of what you said above :D :D
However I have 3 Spurs players (fool I know, but they must come good soon :( :( ) & so have become very interested in their results - previously I would only be interested if they were playing one of the "big 4). Certainly broadened my interest in the Premiership - just as well I don't live in UK anymore otherwise I would be forking out for Sky Sports & Santana now!!!! :D :D

I'm the same. Want Chelsea's opposition to do poorly but at the same time wanting my FF players to do well. Yesterday I would have been happy if Arsenal didn't concede a goal. Think I have to get my priorities right. Chelsea 1st, FF 2nd.
I'm finding involvement in FF is causing me to watch more football, with interests in other teams that I normally wouldn't have.
Congrats to Zidane and Beer Monkey on good performances yesterday. Impressive points. Have looked at some of the "oppositions" teams and it looks like most players have made some good signings and have very strong squads.
Haven't heard much from Statto. Anyone seen him?

Yes am not concerned about who wins as long as my players are getting points...hard to believe Arsenal especially sagna...why did i replace Bosingwa with him..!! sagna= 0 and bosingwa = 13 ,,, #-o

and lets not forget Ron (polehawk) who had a very healthy 42...and its not finished yet.

Galee at top and Bob H down a couple of spots...AT the moment... ;) hoping for a good few goals/assists for wigan and the same for Man city...involving my players of course..

Good Game Good Game.... =D>

Split loyalties ......

Well no, don't have that problem with my real team struggling in the Championship.
I do find myself picking games to watch that feature my Fantasy players. Watched Everton v Liverpool last night and have to say second half, Liverpool supreme, but Everton down to 10.
I just have the suspicion that witch doctors operate in Udon too and that someone has stuck a pin in me. So, I change my team around a little, play my wildcard, pleased to create enough dosh to buy fit again Cahill and ... well, he opts to play Aussie rules and is off. Thank you so very much!!
Incidentally, be careful not to mention how much you have in the bank still when dealing in transfers. My partner suddenly got all interested when I said I had 10 million to play with!

Absolutely not. There is no way I'd have a United player in my FF squad. So last night when I was downing my beer my only regret was dropping "Blow into this sir" (Carlton) Cole who got 8 points while Delap got sod all points...

On the plus side Torres got 2 with an assist from Keane and my new man Vinnie Kompany scored. =D> =D> =D>

Who's ya daddy this week? \:D/

Zaki and Defoe both score and Torres bags a brace as captain! Oh happy days :drunk:

Well until next week that is!

No split loyalties here either, the less said about the "Not So Super U's" the better 8-[

Updated tables...Gallee goes Top followed by Alan, Bob H slips to the 3rd slot, myself climbed up several slots to 4th, Ralhp slips under me..., Zidane had a good week and statto (Where is he..?.) went up too, Roys Bags Of Onions cruised up too, Brian still slipping..John g going with him, Souness stays where he was Som nam na also stays same but Ron P...did climb from bottom and went up a notch only to go back after yesterdays games, so his Carp are still feeding at from the bottom...but you had your best score yet. !!
Automatic subs did work well for a couple of managers too i notice.
Having a meeting with a couple of players to see if something can be done to maximise the points. :-k
All in all a good weekend i think.

Ah, I always thought I had a mid table side & that top 4 was out of my reach. I consider myself as a Hull or Stoke, happy not to be in the drop zone at the end of season.
My three weeks at the top (enabled only by World cup qualifiers) was giving me nose bleed... :D :D

No problems Val, however, they are all full backs, you need mid fielders and forwards
