I thought I'd leave it a few days and get all the crap out of the way........

Great to see Leeds outplay Everton last weekend. 58% possession, 23 shots to 15 and a masterclass against a team that were apparently good enough to be CL contenders.

Chelski this weekend who, despite having Lampard as manager, have a better team and deeper squad. Only the genius that is Bielsa could engineer a win.
Chelsea = Werner or Giroud or Abraham.
Leeds = Bamford.

How big is the Leeds bus?

Now that is interesting, but it begs the question, how is Tranmere Rovers doing in the season ticket holders table?
NO It Doesn't LYM, Because Tranmere Rovers are NOT in The EPL.....Back to the Ice Hockey thread for you then....O.K. ?? :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
You will be overjoyed to learn that there is no hockey yet. If it does resume, there might be an all-Canadian division for the first time ever. Even worse, there was no Canadian football this year, so a winner of Earl Grey's trophy will have to wait another year. Anyway, good luck to your Evertons. For your sake, it would be nice to see them score a goal or two over the rest of the season.

Not in Bielsa's nature to "bus it".

Before the season started I said we would struggle more against teams who played on the counter attack and, our defeats to Palace, Leicester and Wolves proved this. That gives me a bit of hope but, Chelskis full backs worry me today along with Werner. I reckon we will lose by a few goals.

Sorry, too serious for the banter thread. Will post some hilarious images of Chelsea Pensioners indulging in ononism if we win.

With those stats, Leeds look like a typical Thai house build; poor finishing.

First game up was relegation threatened Burnley against big spending Champions League hopefuls Everton.
Result was an even 1-1 draw with little between the teams.
Does this mean Burnley will soon be climbing up the table to make a bid for the top 4 or Everton will be plummeting down with only their 4 title winning October wins keeping them out of danger ?? ;)
Incidentally I think Sheffield United desperately need points on the board and quickly... second season syndrome strikes again ?

Everton plummeting down is the more obvious chose, manager sacked and big Duncan back in charge to avoid relogation. January will bring panic buys for Everton so good other teams can clear their crap out for crazy prices. Obviously my thoughts won't be accepted by all but let's see time will tell and Alan's rants won't change a thing

Didn't take long for their latest wonderboys (Jimmy Rod, Dakka & Allan) to realise that getting a fist full of dollars was NOT dependent on them either "giving a damn" or breaking sweat
