The goalies in the black socks. They may all be full backs but I think any of them could score, certainly with me .

I've heard a rumour that he has been approached by a consortium of Nigerian businessmen by letter about becoming the new manager of Newcastle United !
He is still considering wether or not to send them the 500k baht to cover the consortiums administration costs which will secure his contract and means that Kevin Keegan will not be able to return !! :^o :D
Hey Guys can my team join this fantasy team thing?
I imagine this team pretty good at playing at the rear, but nobody knows what they have to offer up front. As a career move and to broaden my experience, I want to do the physio role.

The referee would need to be strict too. No 'tackle-in' from behind! Ahem

Not such a good week for me and a brown arrow... players failed to score and notched up minimal points.. :(
Roys onions just pipped me by a couple of game week points, Galee stays Top with a healthy gap on BH who goes up to second, Ron P had the largest points with 85..!! only 15 from the highest in the world out of 1.6 million players..well done, and fairly good week for others too.

Thankya, BM. Every player in my lineup scored points last week. Unreal, for me but enjoying it while it lasts. Moved up from last place to 12th, woohoo! :D

Thought about trying to transfer Ronaldo to my team but way too pang now @ 14.2.

Congrats to Ron (Polehawk)for his superb score.I think its the highest anyone of us has achieved so far ?
A few more good scores for him and he'll catch up the main pack !
Personally I think that Roy is a bit of a dark horse for the title.Dont forget he started a week after the rest of us and is already in the chasing pack after Galee !
Certainly he represents Colchester Uniteds best hope of success this season ! :D :D

Things can change...an injury to a star player...a goal drought from a high scorer...a few consecutive weeks with low points.....still early days, don't like the auto subs bit, as its been of no use to me what so ever, but a few have scored well from it.

Roy and his Onions for the title ..Mmmmm.. :-k

Yesterday, Thursday, 4 days after round 7 finished, I made 1 change to my team line-up. I replaced Phil Neville because he was not scoring much in the points department which is really the name of the game.

I replaced him with Martin Skrtel . Today I read that he is injured and out until Xmas. :yikes: Why wasn't he listed as injured before ******* thursday!!!!!

I am going as well as Everton these days. Waste of money buying a ******* lottery ticket. ](*,)
Such is life.

AND I have two weeks to enjoy it all. :D

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in awhile...... 8)

Learned a lot about the game from you lot and watching some games. It's been fun. A long season that ends in May? Joined a Nascar league once and that one ran from Feb to Dec.

Yes, should all be over by May Ron, but we will get quite a few weeks off with the World Cup qualifying & FA cup as well. The later stages of the FA cup could be quite complicated as (some weeks) there will be a "partial" Premiership but some players will be playing in the FA cup....
Anyway, having amassed that many points in one week I think you will have "bragging rights" no matter where you finish in the league... :D :D

Had a really bad day yesterday.
Wanted to play Cech but he was out. Wanted to play Zaki, but after looking on the web to see if he was fit decided it was too risky to select him and played Arteta instead. What happens, Zaki plays and scores 2 goals. How Bob knew he was playing i don't know.
I'd signed Carew the previous week and made him captain on the strength of previous weeks performances. Watched the Villa game last night. What a donkey. Was so disapointed in him, signed him out today, along with Barry of A Villa. O'Neill now playing him as a full back so no point keeping him as a mid fielder. Loss of 4 points will be worth it I hope.
Only hope today is SWP scoring a hat-trick. :(

Its Ok Gary,

All the scores were were considerably lower then the last ones, except for "THe dark horse, ROY" who improved his position substantually, must of been inebriated when he chose his squad! :D :D :D

Tell me about the frustrations of FF.
Last games (2 weeks ago) I play Alex, because Brown isn't getting any games. Result, Alex on the bench, Brown not only starts, but scores... :(
So this week I see Alex is "doubtful" so I play Brown. Result, Alex plays, Brown on the bench & despite 2 defensive substitutions by United Brown doesn't get a kick. ](*,) ](*,)
It was lack of choice on the Zaki front....

Yeah, not only Roy doing well, keep an eye on Ron, Ronald Inaho, considering he started a week late I reckon it won't be long before he'll be near the the top.

Bob, I think your get 6 points for Alex being an automatic sub as Brown didn't play.

Terrible day for me as well.I've got no fit strikers and Cech was injured as well.Luckily I've got Ronaldo who scored half my points.
But a quick question......one of my injured strikers is Torres who is out for two weeks. Is it possible to transfer him out and bring in another striker and then bring him back when he is fit again ? Or is there a restriction on doing this ?
