Re: EPL 2023/24
Former Premier League referee Mike Dean believes Everton wrongfully saw a goal ruled out in their defeat by Fulham
On Saturday afternoon.
So If He Says it WAS A GOAL Then it was Because WE Never got given SFA When He Refereed Us.......

Ah yes, once again the better team didn't win. Such is the perpetually, plaintive whine of the Evertoonian Championship denier.

The Evertons come through....
Great reporting, great result.
https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/asto ... -mt3tvg0khVilla bounce back to breeze past lackadaisical Everton
Aston Villa 4 Everton 0
This was precisely the sort of dominant, possession-based, one-touch football that Emery wanted to see from his team, and Sean Dyche’s side were so inferior they were lucky they were not on the receiving end of an even bigger hammering. There was certainly no indication that Villa are going to be set back by the injuries to Emiliano Buendía and Tyrone Mings.
Everton’s body language was dire and that soft centre, which contributed to them being stuck at the bottom of the table last season, had returned. Their heads had dropped and, even after only 18 minutes, it did not look like there would be a way back.
Everton’s spine was weak with Garner the only player showing any real pressing intensity in a tepid first-half display, but creatively they struggled as well.
Everton supporters had seen enough and headed for the exit with 51 minutes on the clock.
Great reporting, great result.
