Besiktas striker Cenk Tosun says he is happy that a move to Crystal Palace didn’t materialise over the summer.

“About my transfer to Crystal Palace, I can say that I’m very happy the move failed,” he said in quotes carried by the Croydon Advertiser.

“Because I get to stay at the club and I am doing very well at the moment in both the league and the Champions League."

Could be accurate, could be newspaper gossip. If true, I think it's fair enough comment - things going well for him and his current side, the opposite at Palace. Although, if he had moved, the situations MAY have been reversed. Palace still chasing him?I don't know. Benteke is, seemingly, on the mend. But he would still be Palace's ONLY recognised striker, which is ridiculous.

Its rumoured when Farhad Moshiri heard the name Mila Kunis he immediately informed the Everton board that he was willing to break the clubs transfer record to get this proven European striker but then Bill Kenwright told him Mila was an actress !
