Fully prepared to admit that I know nothing about anything in this thread, but I wanted to share that early news on CNBC cites a rumor that Manchester United has been purchased by the Qatari royal family. Man U shares are up over 20%.

The Qatari news outlets reporting the same but still to be confirmed.

IMO will be good for Man U and the City in general. In the same way that Man C and Utd fans hate each other, so do the rulers of Qatar and UAE hate each other.

Might be worth a few quid on Man U to win the league DOUBT It !!!
