But all is not lost.....tonight Everton v Chelsea.
Arteta man of the match.
Cech clean sheet and saves two penalties.
Anelka scores a hat trick.

Now that is Fantasy for you !

More like .......
Saha make a miraculous recovery and returns to score a hit-trick.
Cech conceedes 3 (-1) and gets yellow for whingeing (-1) ....... total 0
Arteta "coasts" through the game doing nothing, and gets booked for not trying (-1) ....... total 1
Anelka sits on the bench watching "The Drog" reclaim his rightful place (He wouldn't have made the "I'm very happy to play a supporting role behind Drogba" comments unless he knew that he was second choice in "Big Phil's" mind)

Now this FF is starting to get to me................. just when you think you have sussed out, something comes along and smacks you in the face, who could you put money on to gather points..? :?
If you watch a few players for a several weeks then bring them in they go all quite...skill involved..?? more luck than anything.
The lower clubs seem to have good scoring players at times ..but then they run out of steam.

In theory there isn't a player in the Hull team that is "premier league" standard, but up until a couple of weeks ago they were all scoring good FF points, and getting good results. The first few matches has to be down to the fact that Phil Brown had them playing with the right mental approach.... "everyone thinks were not good enough so lets go and show them".
After a few weeks of good results, they have now started to believe the media hype, that they ARE good enough, and that is now where the problem is. Even their chairman was quoted last week as saying he believes they are good enough to finish in the top six  :fryingpan: They are EXPECTING to be able to go out and win games with just a little effort because they are UEFA cup standard players.
They will still be able to "lift their game" when playing against the big 4 (Man Utd/Liverpool/Chelsea/Newcastle  ), but when they play the likes of Sunderland or West Ham, they are now going into the games with the wrong attitude and will get plenty more drubbings like Saturday, before the end of the season.
I can't see them finishing any higher than 16th (if they are lucky), so I for one will be avoiding their players like the plague :fryingpan:

Fair point statto...i was thinking about phasing 2 of them out(with a few other jerk)..and your post has just made my mind up. ;)
Would do it in one hit, but can't face up to losing to many transfer points.

I think I might lose some friends here.I know I am in the minority, but sorry.I HATE football! I cant see the point of 22 blokes kicking a bag of wind about.
When I was a kid, My Dad took me to a football match.Freezing it were.Everyone shouting and hollering
It put me off football for life. If I ever meet up with someone, and the football subject comes up,Im lost!
I havent a clue.I feel out of place.Im thinking....Please dont ask me "what you think about Man u last night?"
I know everyone to there own, and it is good people enjoy and I wish I did like it.I just find it boring. Is there anyone same as me? Am I the only farang in Udon not into football? I think so.

Morti, I for one, have NO PROBLEM with anyone who dislikes football ....... as you say "everone to their own".
I personally cannot find anything even remotely interesting in Basketball, Rounders, Rugby, or Grid Iron.
What I do find interesting though, is that even though you "HATE FOOTBALL" you still bother to read the threads ABOUT football :yikes:
Come on Morti ........ be honest with your inner self ........come out of the cupboard ........ theres a footie fan in there trying to get out isn't there? :fryingpan: :fryingpan: :fryingpan:

Well he spent 45 mins sitting on the bench :D
He may get to play on Friday, but only as a "second" striker behind Drogba, and only because it's WBA, so Big Phil can be a little more attack minded :-$

I started doing that 4 or 5 weeks back, and now "The Shirkers" have made up the 30 odd points they were adrift at the bottom, and started to move up the table.

Is Anelka the top scorer in the EPL? He is as far as I can see. It will be disappointing to see him lose game time to that poser and professional fall guy diddleme Drugbore. ](*,)

Now I'm not sure if I should keep Anelka or trade him. Looks like time to trade.

And yes I am not a fan of the fall guy, Didier Drogba. :-"

BM... You should note I have drafted Valencia of Wigan into my squad. Expect him to suffer a dip in form and move on to Rushden & Diamonds in an exchange deal for their tea lady... :fryingpan: :fryingpan: :fryingpan:
