SAKHO OFFERED LOAN MOVE

Sky Sports News HQ understands Liverpool’s Mamadou Sakho has been told it’s in his best interest to move to a loan club for the sake of his club and international career.

Although the player is highly rated by Jurgen Klopp, the manager believes Sakho needs to get game time, while his opportunities at Liverpool will be limited.

The club have already accepted one loan offer from Stoke, but the player turned the move down.

It’s understood Klopp still expects Sakho to have a big future at Liverpool, but want him to spend the season playing regular football at a top flight club.

Seems like a rather pointless exercise if he's going back to Liverpool afterwards :-"

Crystal Palace have confirmed the capture of Loic Remy on a season-long loan from Chelsea.

I'll be happy when they're climbing the table and, hopefully, playing good stuff too. At least we have more than one recognised striker now. =D>

Chelsea make a shock bid to bring David Luiz back to England,

Chelsea fans to note; The words to the song "you don't know what your doing" can be purchased from samalladycesongs.com for a small fee.
The words to the okey cokey (In Out In Out Shake it all about) can be obtained free from most christmas party websites

Of course it's exciting/interesting to see what happens on transfer deadline day and particularly who your Club gets or disposes of. I still find the process ridiculous. Weeks to sort something out and then chaos. I try to encourage my 5 year old not to wait till the last moment to go to the toilet!

Well Pep is certainly a last minute star at getting rid of players he doesn't rate.
Hart on season long loan at Torino
Bony on season long loan to Stoke.

In fairness it is probably a good move for the players & the new clubs. One wonders what will happen come season end & their astronomical wages though...

Meanwhile no news on 'Why Me?'. I guess he will return to Pool - maybe he can spend some time with Schweinsteiger playing Fantasy Football Manager.. :D

Think it will have to be a loan as Nice couldn't afford to pay more than about 10% of his wages :-k

Well Pep actually got rid of 7 on the last day - quite an achievement & shows the depth of the squad at Citi.
Eliaquim Mangala has signed for Valencia until June.
Flick forecast was correct & Pool give Mario Balotelli away to Nice.

Tottenham have completed a £30m deal to sign Moussa Sissoko from Newcastle as they snatch him away from Everton. I saw quite a bit of him in the Euros for France. He was the best player France had on the park & looked a more attractive buy than record breaking Pogba. However then I remember what a flop he was at Newcastle while they slid to the Championship.
It will be interesting to see which player Spurs have actually bought!! :D

Chelsea have re-signed Brazil defender David Luiz from Paris St-Germain for a fee of around £34m. Shows just what a dearth of defenders there is.
Not sure this is a good buy given the instructions given to referees concerning holding. If they follow it then, on his past record, David will be lucky to finish a game this season.. :D

I think Paul Merson summed Sissy up Bob ...

MERSE UNCONVINCED BY SISSOKO

Paul Merson, meanwhile, is unconvinced by Tottenham's signing of Moussa Sissoko.

"I watched him at Newcastle last year, he stayed out on the wing and didn't do anything," Merson said on Sky Sports News HQ. "When you're that good you've got to be able to do something out of the ordinary to get your team out of it as that's what top players do. I wouldn't have been putting my £30million on him.

"He was playing in front of 50,000 Geordies, if you can't get up for that, when are you ever going to get up for playing a football match.

"It's unreal he can't even answer Ronald Koeman's call. What's the game coming to? This man is a legend for what he's done in football and he can't even pick the phone up and say 'I don't really want to sign for you, sorry!'"

Safe to say most Geordies will be glad to see the back of him ...... and to get 30m :drunk: 15 - 20 would have been OTT :-"

Cashley must L O V E deadline day & transfer windows in gen

Money back on Townsend 10mill too much for GG and now Sissy :-$

well after my 2 predictions to a friend yesterday i got 1 correct,''Liverpool wont sign a LB and will end up keeping Balotelli'' not signing a LB will come back to bite them in the ass,not sorted the defense out for a good few seasons now, starting the season with such unbalanced side is just crazy.

Doesn't appear to be any info of what % of Marios 5m plus wages Liverpool are still going to pay. Wouldn't be surprised if it was 100% just to get the disruptive influence out of the dressing room

reckon he'll be sold on to PSG or whoever for about 15 - 20 mill in 6 months or a year :-"
