Their match on Saturday at home to Aston Villa is crucial to them if they want to get out of the relegation zone sooner rather than later.
In contrast,Liverpool are now level on points with Manchester United and must harbour hopes of grabbing a Champions League spot. They are the early kick off, away to West Ham,at 7.45pm Thai on Saturday.

22:00 Man Utd v Swansea

An absolute 9 pointer,if there was such a thing,at the Stadium of Light, although Villa need Champions League form for the rest of the season to survive.
Members watching these games at bars or restaurants at the weekend are asked to dress appropriately and not cause offence to our Thai hosts by wearing Manchester City or Chelsea tops.....Everton tops are OK because no-one has heard of them !
Only joking ....a Happy New Year to all on the footie forum.I hope your teams all have never ending success during 2016....I mean that most sincerely, folks !

Bit late, but only just saw this. No complaints from me. Palace missing some key players and didn't have enough to compete after the first 25? minutes. The 2nd half was a stroll for Chelsea and media comments suggest perhaps the best they've shown for some time (shame! ), so maybe not too much of a surprise result. Who scored the first goal was going to be important. And Palace need a top class goalscorer!747man wrote:Sundays Early Kick Off......Crystal Palace 0 v Chelski 3...... Sorry Brian....
