Brave England should reflect on Henry V, Nelson and Wellington as they prepare to put away France.

Great result for the Englanders eh Tam n Jack .. no.pillow biting at 4am ..sorry guys.

Alas its the French next n i cant see our defense coping with the mutant ninja turtle Mbappe hes too good n quick fir them.
Sadly reaching the quarters will ensure Southgate stays tho talk.of him.stepping down n Pochettino coming in making the media rounds.

Nights n games like this are just dreams n fantasy for most nations ..one in particular eh Tammy.

We will.give thecfrogs a decent game but s not coming home ...

Southgate's the most successful English manager of England since Sir Alf Ramsay.

If I'm not wrong, most every outfield player except Maddison has had some WC play time. Southgate now knows better than most of the other quarterfinalist manager's what works and what doesn't. His Swiss Army knife team is coming together nicely. Even Maquire is playing a blinder. They don't "need a motorbike" to catch Mbappe, just a solid, workmanlike 4-3-3 formation like the one Southgate fielded last night.

Pochettino? What's he going to do for England except punt the 'it's coming home' mantra well beyond 2066? Back to the days of weirdo foreign managers like Erikkson and Capello? What's wrong with giving Big Sam another go? After all, he's the only England manager with a 100% win record.

I'm joking but you started it.

PS: If you refrain from framing everything in the context of being 'better than Scotland', it's quite possibly coming home.

Hope this helps.

Toutes choses étant égales par ailleurs, l'Angleterre devrait vaincre la France

For those who do not speak french, try this.

Use a French accent, and complete any sentence with the words Heerr heerr, heerr.

Didnt pop by yesterday so, happy I missed the negativity. Same feeling in the pub when everyone saw Henderson was in the team. Happy for him when he scored and gave a base for Bellingham to bomb forward.

I had a tenner on 5-0 at 60/1. Cashed out for £50 when the subs started to come on and time was running down.

Gonna be a close one next Saturday but, our team is better.

Damn best to have your pockets full to go out for a night on the town in Doha

A liter of Absolut vodka goes for $42, while a liter of Jack Daniels whiskey sets a shopper back $70. A 24-pack of standard Budweiser cans costs nearly $52.

The ruddy Japs are going home after losing on penalties and South Korea is 2-0 down when we're only 24 minutes in. I reckon Mbappe will slot two past Pickford before we know it on Saturday night.

Mr JS, I expect you to be singing God Save the K1ng at the top of your lungs at the start of the England v France game on Saturday night.

As a subject of the commonwealth (we all know that really means England) it's your duty, along with the Kiwi's, Welsh, Jocks and Canadians.

KP will be giving singing lessons all this week to anyone who needs the practice. He's also available to give instruction on the correct etiquette for using your flag pole.
