The conclusion to the story that I posted earlier.
Cinderford Town will be promoted despite originally refusing to go up because of the extra financial burden it would place on them. The FA appeal board overturned a previous decision to move Evesham from the Southern League Division One South & West to the Northern Division One South which would have been necessary if Cinderford were not promoted.
The decision leaves Cinderford in a real mess though. Many of the team who won promotion along with the manager have already walked away from the club after the original decision by the board not to accept promotion. It is doubtful that all will return.
Additionally the club is in serious financial straights. HMRC (not a group to mess with !!) say the club owe them £30K - not a small amount of money for a club that is in an area that will make it difficult to produce a quality sponsor..
