Cheltenham get the biggie then ......... massive crowd and a cushy game ta boot :-"

Chelsea v Bristol Rovers brings back memories of many moons ago, when I spent new years day at Stamford Bridge (up in the gods with a hell of a hangover) watching an FA cup tie. To b fair I think I would have felt queezy up there even without the hangover :-k

Aston Villa boss Roberto Di Matteo appears to have given a clear indication that Joleon Lescott is not part of his plans by having him play in the Under-23 fixture with Wolves today.

The Birmingham Mail say that the defender is apparently available on a free transfer despite having a year left to run on his contract.

Leeds are reportedly the only team who have shown an interest. #-o ](*,)

Well the gloves are off already & all you thinking Raffa might be first for the chop were wrong.
But the first manager has already gone..
Chris Todd: Eastleigh sack manager four games into new season
http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/37106869

Poor, poor decision by the person that appointed him.. :D
Eastleigh chairman Stewart Donald told BBC Radio Solent.
"I would be very surprised if we didn't have a manager in place for Saturday,"
What is it they say about acting in haste & repenting in leisure?? :D
It will be interesting to see where they finish up at season end..

I think this is the right thread for wolves & liverpoo747l Reserves;-

Surely not ....

BALOTELLI GAMBLE CONTINUES

The money continues to come for Mario Balotelli to join Wolves this month. The price had already been cut from 28/1 yesterday to 8/1 this morning, and the Liverpool striker is now just 5/4 to make the move to Molineux. Ajax are now out to 7/1, with former favourites Chievo now 8/1.

What a difference 50 years makes

Romford FC at their Brooklands home 1966/7 season Southern League Champions and 2 votes short of election to football league) Ground capacity 25,000 including 1500 all seater stand built 1964, and full floodlighting.

Good luck to the Boro tomorrow when they play Hullbridge Sports in FA Cup Qualifying Preliminary Round. It might be a lot to ask of this seasons squad to equal the Romford record of FA Cup quarter finalists

Did someone mention that the Championship might be a bit 'ard this year?

4 games in and only one team HUDDERSFIELD has so far managed 3 wins, and only one team BLACKBURN has failed to win a game (the other 22 teams have either one or two wins so far)

Scunthorpe go second after trashing the arse off Gillingham 5-0 and could of been double figures ... must say to receive a phone call from Tbar Steve (a staunch Gills fan ) to congratulate me on our win just shows the measure of the man ..... SHAME HE REVERSED THE CHARGES   ...

Elsewhere ..at last something for the 3 local lesser spotted Leeds fans to smile about winning 2-1 away at local rivals Sheff Wednesday .
