Ok, lets gather up all the topics on a general Ozzie Footie Forum

Wazza - Swans

Grievous - Bombers

Marjamlew - Doggies

I have spoken to Jackspratt and he has agreed to allow an exemption to the forum rules and the Black n White Maggots will be allowed to post, however come Sept and if they creep into the 8, they will be heavily moderated for any wins.

Seeing as G has poured salt onto the wounds, or was that supplements , regarding the purchase of a player , from another team in Melb ! and his high profile in the Grade 1 media gatherings by the Opera house.

Just as Flash as old Capper was in the 80's, Bet he did Geoffery's slapper ??

GT - very pissed off Bombers supporter (pissed off at Bombers management)

No need to worry about the Pies making the eight. With Buckley at the helm they won't be getting any better. I think it's going to be a tough year for the Melbourne teams. Fewer than four Melbourne teams to make the eight?

Was a buddy awful start for the scray too Wazza but was always gonna be a tough assignment in Perth after the Eagles disappointing campaign last year.
But overall I am optimistic about the list and believe that McCarthy can coach. I'm really looking forward to watching the son's of guns trio Hunter, Liberatore and Wallis improving. Seems like yesterday that I was standing on the terrace at the Geelong Rd end, drinking green cans and watching their dads in the red, white and blue.
North this week and underdogs as always.
Carn the Scray.

;) GT3 all of us toothed AFL supporters love nothing more than to see the magpies get thumped, hopefully they'll be revisited by the disease that plagued them in the 70's & 80's. "The colliwobbles"

Marjamlew it's great to see how well the father & son draft rule is working. It's been great seeing Watson, Fletcher and Daniher playing together.

Jack I'm currently living in WA and by watching the local sports report you'd think there are only two teams in the AFL, bearing that in mind I don't think the Eagles would mind the Dockers finishing second.

Aardvark do you mean the Pricktorians who invented our great game and kindly allowed the other states to join in?

Wazza I'm sure that the Wizard (Capper) would have driven Leanne home once or twice in the Pink ferrari.......

I can feel ya pain with the local sports report G - how wrong can ya get.

Clearly there is only one team in the AFL, and (despite Aardy's mixed/misplaced loyalties), it ain't the bl00dy Shockers.

ps agree with wazza - great (attempted) diversion. [-X

Back to the smoke screen - Essendon seems to have been run more professionally when the longstanding lunatic Sheedy was in charge. I'm still not convinced Hird is a good coach. I think the Bombers have a competitive playing list so good results are expected even if there's no "cheating" with supplements.

I hope the Tigers have a good season. It seems more fun when they are going well. They probably wouldn't notice that out west.

Couple of good close games so far this weekend. Richmond fell in against Carlton and Hawthorn stole the game from the Dons.
Adelaide oval looked great with renovations complete. Derby was action packed with port just too strong.
Doggies on tomorrow against roos and pies- swans just about ready for the bounce. Hope the buddy swans front tonight Wazza.

The Swans bloody awful start continues. The Saints are high up the ladder but they'll probably soon start a premature late season crap-out as thoroughly mastered by Hird's Essendon teams. Given its round 3 rather than round 23 next week the Bombers should beat the Blues.

Carlton will probably win the round 23 rematch. The Bombers will be distracted in that match by some vitriol against the AFL from James Hird's second cousin's father-in-law. Mrs. Hird will represent the said relative before the Bombers board and Paul Little will say everything has been worked out fine.

So whats the consensus, that Julie Bitchup will wipe Australia Network this May budget, already sticking it the possibility saying it was suppose to represent the Govt in Asia and it no longer does that with TV shows, SPORT.

Mark my Words ( geez Jack will be busy )

Certain to go Wazz - but I don't think immediately, because there will be commercial arrangements in place.

Hopefully (if it happens) it will be on 1 October 2014.

Smoke screen Wazza, the fate of the Australia channel is important but I'm waiting for your feed back on the Swannies start to the season.
I'm happy with how the Don's are going. It was poor a start to the game against Hawthorn not scoring from half a dozen entries to the forward 50 compared to the Hawks scoring goals three out of three and not manning up well enough in the last few minutes of the game that cost us this week.
