Manchester City have been banned from European Competitions for Two Seasons for financial irregularities.

Interesting to see who jumps ship now. Also they won't attract the big names with no Champions League football.

Obviously they will appeal and could get the Champions League ban reduced to one season.
But they have also broken Premiership rules....big fine,surely not relegation ??
Silva is leaving at the end of this season,Aguero is contracted till 2022,I think,but surely would want Champions League football at this stage of his career.
But if Pep goes there could be a mass exodus.....

Im sure they can afford a decent lawyer for the appeal and im guessing CL ban reduced ..as for the PL that is gonna be very interesting as you say Zid.. points deduction ? Fine (not a real punishment cos of the clubs wealth).. RELEGATION ?? ..didnt the same happen to rangers in Scotland a whole back ..either way who would of foreseen BOTH Manchester clubs in crisis in 2020

Seasons 17/18, 18/19, 19/20 Prem Leagues should all be declared null & void with any awards or prize money returned

Last years Champions League knock out rounds need to be redrawn (with Shakhtar replacing Man City in the last 16 draw the "match up vs Not allowed match ups" will be different)

This looks pretty serious. They should lose some of their titles and be relegated. Reducing the Champions League ban to one year seems too light.

There is a very recent case in English rugby union which has similarities to Manchester City.
In the last 5 years Saracens have won the English Premiership 4 times and the European Cup on 3 occasions.
They have been found guilty of financial irregularities and will be relegated to the English Championship at the end of this season.

lets face it their players even make most many premier league players look close to useless most of the time

Blame has to be put at the door of English football authorities for allowing them to get away with it, so it wouldnt be a surprise to see Uefa slap a two year ban on all English teams and the National team as well (depends how much influence the Platini gang still have)
