Grape Nuts cereal

I like I but never saw it in Udon and that is just casual looking, not a dedicated hunt. I found it at Rim Ping Supermarkets in Chiang Mai thus insuring that the product is available in Thai. I contacted the manager at the local Tops 3 times making a request and basically was blown off with, do you have a picture of the box or we have to plan to order this. These requests took place several months ago. I emailed Tops Hq, Contact Us, in BKK making a request and never had the courtesy of a reply. I have had to rely on trips to CM or having someone there make the effort to shop for me. My wife called Rim Ping this week and a most courteous and helpful person arranged to mail 6 boxes which are now here by EMS. Point is if you want a product and can't find it here this is one alternative.

I recall Tops stocking at one time, 2 or 3 years ago. It was priced somewhere around 300bt ($10) no thanks, I don't miss it that much.

Yes, a bit prcey at 287 TB for a 1 1/2 pound box. I like it and it is one of the few that isn't loaded with sugar as the second ingredient. More to the point of my posting is that Tops seems to be less than customer friendly and Rim Ping is, esp if you can't find an item here.

Well, thanks for that. Since we live out on Udonsakon Hwy we don't often go to Tesco but I will keep it in mind when I finish the 6 boxes Rim Ping shipped to me. As I said, I never made a dedicated hunt for it in Udon but saw it while shopping at Rim Ping and made the less than satisfactory requests to Tops.
