If you have someone in the family or a friend who sells things in the market, 10 to 1 they've got a stash of 'old' coins and bills. The problem is getting them to share their stash with you.
A worker at the oldest Buddha supply store in Udon, corner of Makaeng and Prajak, told me there is a shop at the fountain circle that deals in coins. I didn't have time today to survey the area.....but it might be worth a few minutes to take a look.
มีคนขายเหรียญเก่าในบริเวณนี้หรือไม่ (Does anyone sell old coins in this area?)

for what it's worth, most likely nothing, except interest.
Still have my 1 baht "Note" somewhere in my wallet. Was told it was lucky and I bought into it.
Now 50 years later for some strange reason, it has seemed to have worked. Once on my motorcycle, lost my wallet, day later someone called me and had found it, went by and pick it up, and the "Note" had not been touched.
