Farang Friendly Farmacy

Post by papaguido » January 15, 2008, 12:49 pm

FWIW, I thought I would give this Pharmacy a plug. Rama Pharmacy, located on Mak Kaeng Rd, btwn Phosi Rd & Sangruang Rd directly across from the market (grid J-11). Ph# 042-221492, 042-242564

Very good prices, often giving discounts on purchases and at least one English speaking pharmacist.

I used to buy my meds in the pharmacy in the Big C shopping center, until I found out that sweet old lady with the friendly smile behind the counter was charging me double.

Rito, that sweet old lady at Big C pharmacy will give you a deal but you have got to work her hard. She gave me a couple hundred baht discount on some Centrum old git vitamins recently. I dunno if she can help you out with the Viagras, pratt, but maybe if you sweet talk her? :D

Oops, wrong pharmacy. That Rama Pharmacy sounds like a good one to try. Gotta find a better place than Aek Udon to buy my meds.

I don't know Jack this daddy don't need no help :) , I could ask next time I'm there. I don't know when that will be, I was just there this morning. In the past she has given me generic Valium, so it may be possible.

V from India

Post by Jing Jing » January 16, 2008, 10:05 am

The only problem I had with the generic V from India is I had a strong desire to eat curry and every time I practiced the recorder my trouser snake would start to twitch.

across from the ban hoy market there is a pharmacy with a filipino/thai guy that speaks english fluently.

JS, if you try to buy sidenafil citrate "blue pills" it can cost very dearly in Udon. I am holding on to a big stash from my cambodia trip, and may part with a few kamagras.

the pharmacy across PTI wanted 600bt for 2 generic viagra.

Recent prices per card - (4) 100mg pills:

80 Bt at Cambodia border.
85 Bt at Myanmar border.
350 Bt near Nana in BKK.

This is NOT their starting price.

Anyone ever buy at Laos border?

Can any of you 'pill popping people' advise whether high blood pressure and or heart problems are definate no no's when one needs ones trouser snake to rise to the occasion?
A fiesta magazine or a cheap blue dvd from the night market surely are more suitable alternatives :D

Pompui, Viagra was developed for Geriatrics who sufered from heart desease, high blood pressure and high Colesterol. The idea of this drug was to open the Arteries and allow better blood flow. Quite by accident they discovered [to the old boy's delight] that there was a certain side affect[to which there were no complaints] . :D However, everyone should consult a Doctor before useing any drug as a precaution, especially since it may act adversely with the Medication you are already useing, otherwise " Happy Days "

If you have used Viagra in the previous 24 hours and then have cardiac chest pain either from an infarction ( Heart Attack ) or from Angina ( chest pain from excercise or at rest ) , then your normal medication, such as Anginine, GTN, Isordil, or any other from of Nitrate is contra indicated, as it can lead to massive drops in BP , as the Viagra is still holding a blood plasma level. The 2 of them can lead to massive hypotension and lead to life threatening presentations.

Which is precisely why 'real' Viagra has such a warning posted on it's product.

On the other hand, I have in my possession, and available for sale, LOVE PUPPIES, the all natural, HERBAL equivalent to Viagra. No morning headache or upset stomach, even guys with pace-makers use them without problems. PM if you're interested or wish to give LOVE PUPPIES a try 8)

Taking actifed or antihistimines will also cause you problems too, keep that in mind, it may not be found on the internet as info, but it will cause problems.
