At least though they acted on my recommendation for Yorkies, seems not interested stocking any precooked products from BIRC (British Indian Restaurant Curry) or Bookhouse.
Saw they were still trying to shift those pickles under a discounted price \:D/
So for the forumites desperate for a bagel fix you are lucky, there were other flavoured bagels from Lenders in the freezer section today 8)
Pomps, Villa market are now stocking British Resturant Indian curries as requested =D> Various choices at 199 bht.

The last time I was at Villa I complained about the lack of Villa parking in the VIP lot. Seemed the lot was full of Samlors and other vehicles that were obvisouly not shopping at Villa.

Today I went back and noted there was plenty of parking available. When I went inside the manager asked what I thought of the parking now.

Maybe the complaint did some good?

On my visit yesterday noticed Dr Pepper and Mountain Dew back in stock. Now priced at 25b per can. Now that I'll spring for! I just pretend I'm buying from one of those buck a can vending machines in America.

Fritos "scoops" down from 279b to 169b, only a few bags remained. I left 1 on the shelf. ;)

No Vlassic pickles in stock! :( Well, they did have "spears", but no whole variety.

Parking lot was jammed, so I walked over from my spot at Bangkok Bank since I planned on only a few items anyway. All the Fritos are not so heavy.

The pickles I bought were Hayward's Gherkins in "dill flavored vinegar". They are definately not Vlassic quality OR taste. They are more like a sweet pickle. Ok for making relish, but not up to par for a tasty burger (IMO). Will keep my fingers crossed they get Vlassic back in stock soon. :(

Not sure if on this thread or "This week's shopping deal", but I believe someone was looking for Cheese Wiz. Came across Imperial brand, a knock off Cheese Wiz at Big C for 188bt. Bought some for my kids...not bad tasting, but can't make a comparison to the real thing cuz I haven't had Cheese Wiz in a very long time.

An alternative if can't find the real thing here...

Was at Villa this morning and was happy to see Lender's Bagels are back in stock. :)

The cheese selection was a bit sparse, but they did have the sharp cheddar, and a few other selections of the California's Premium, though the sliced selection of California Premium was limited to 3 types. They had 5 (IIRC) types in bulk.

Did not notice anything else that called my name. :D

Just made a quick run through. Fritos Scoops back in stock, but still no Vlassic whole dills. I spoke to the manager and she promised new stock soon. Noticed boxes of General Mills and Quaker brand cereals on the "clearance" table out front, no prices. I'm not a cereal eater, so didn't inquire. Very few customers in Villa, but VIP parking lot FULL.

When I next visit, will have to see if they still have the Villa Market VIP parking sign, looking back on the thread, started out that way with motorcycles on the right, then parking was for all customers of Landmark, then 30 min parking maximum application for Villa Market VIP parking, all this with still motocycles allowed on the right.
Last 2 times in passing noticed car parking allowed on both sides,no motorcycles but presumably for all customers of Landmark not specific to one business in there.
The joys of parking :D Waiting for an area allocated for customers disabled or on disabilities or looking just plain old

Anyways good to see Lenders Bagels back in stock, hope loads of hash browns available also :D

Stopped by today to get some California Premium sharp cheddar, and for the second week in a row it was 'out of stock'. *sigh*

They did have a few jars of Kraft Mayo almost at expiration for 69 baht and Hellmann's squeezable mayo almost at expiration for 116 baht. I passed.

They also did not have sage, so I guess I will need to make the trek to Makro. First time in a long time where I got out of there with decent change from 1000 baht. ;)
