Hello everybody,
I will be arriving in Udon mid-October....
Looking for a nice 1-bedroom condo to rent (living area, cooking facilities, bathroom and separate bedroom, furniture), not too far away from Central Plaza)
I went through real estate agent web sites etc, but have not been successful in locating anything suitable.
Is this available in Udon at all? Any ideas where I might look?

You will struggle...
Jon at Chern Chim has some available from time to time, you could try him. Although you don't mention how long you are staying, I think he likes a 1 year minimum.
The Kinnaree is also worth a look as I believe that they do have some larger rooms that have a separate bedrooms.
Neither is especially near the centre of town, though both walkable if you are reasonably fit.
Englishman's Retreat may also have what you want but for that you are really talking about needing your own transport.
Don't think you stand much of a chance in the centre of town as I am pretty sure that nothing like that exists.
Houses are mainly on the edge of the ring road & so transport certainly required.

Like Bobhelm said you will struggle in the center of town, there is not alot of choice in the center of town. If you are stopping for 6 months + i think the best idea would be to rent a small 2 bedroom house or something but you would need a motorbike to get around because there is not much to pick from in the center of town. All the best in finding what you are looking for
