i had a problem with the phone and asked them 4 times if they could get it working and at each time they told me that a technician was on his way after 4 days i was wandering where he was comming from.
i must agree the food in the morning is cold
and each time i asked somebody in english at the front desk something ,they had no idear apart from the basic stuff, you would have thought that a big hotel like this would accomadate to some english speaking tourist even if there was one english speaking person on at the front desk at a time.
i had a suite for the 10 days and i would have thought the suite would have been cleaned everyday when the linen gets swapped but to my seprise the only thing which got done was the linen was changed and the clases was washed but not dried ,they were just in the cabinet dripped dryedthey half empty fruit basket with the half eaten food in there was left there for days so after a cople of days i told them to get rid of it.
the suite has queit a few windows and in the stay that i was there ,they were not cleaned at all.
i just thought for a suite that i was paying 2100 bath i would have been looked after a bit better.
all i can say is ,the room looked good when i booked in but after i was there everything went down hill..
never again would i stay there again.

i have stayed at the Landmark (BKK) a few times and paid 7000baht per night, and did'nt get the windows cleaned in my room (Club floors at the top) so don't think thats unusual,in fact over the 19 years period of using hotels don't think i have ever seen anyone come and clean the windows in any of the many hotels i have stayed at.

i see that the Charoen in Udon charge 1500baht for the suite in the new building(another topic on the forum)

yes i used to experiance that years ago when on lads holidays in Thailand :drunk:
