The location was all under a lease from " The Steve Graham " wasnt it ??

Trevor took over and had the occupancy for all the premises , and chose to " Backpack " it.

It was certainly busier then, but more Alien drinking and eating places have set up in Soi Farang since then, FX rates in the boots for some means some UM's have trimmed their budgets , caught a few out also , sadly.

I left Thailand in 2013 for the more civilised tranquility of France, it was a good decision.
I merely browse to see what's going on and felt the need to comment here - no spite intended.

Tamada needs to 'settle down' - or increase the prescribed dose :D .

Stayed over in Udon last night with a couple of friends to sample the bright lights of the big city. Had to leave early to get on the golf course and one of the guys asked at the Clock if we could get breakfast at 8.15 (normally opens 8.30 I believe).

They were happy to open early and we enjoyed a really nice Full English breakfast.

Great customer service.

This comment is NOT focussing on just the Irish Clock but all businesses, restaurants etc

If it were not for what can be misconstrued as Negative comments then we would not have the data to build on. In other words we learn by mistakes , we do not learn by doing everything right. By receiving positive comments then we learn nothing to improve on.

Just a comment and once again not focussed on any particular individual or business.

Can you guys having a swell time at the Irish Clock and still getting great food and good service also post in the Irish Clock's News (sponsors) thread? Gets out to the broader-minded, less-frugal, dining out crowd.

post492393.html?hilit=irish%20clock#p492393

...56 pages and (still) mostly good so far.

In the interests of balance, also posted on the sponsor thread too.......

Me & The Boy have just had a cracking full English to start the day. Nice friendly, chatty staff & good food too. What's not to like?

Hehe, strange isn't it, treat others as you would like to be treated yourself & lo & behold, everything is good. In fact, very good
