A buddy stayed there in the past week or so. Loved it, but had to leave due to prior reservations to his pushing him out and into another hotel.

It's tucked away nicely off the beaten path and appears to be far enough away from the all-night goings on to get a good night's sleep. He liked it very much.

Yes, I had several good nights in the beginnig of april this year.
You have to look good to see the entrance.

But honestly it is worth to find.

It is really in the middle of the Sampan Road.

In the entry is enough space to talk together or, of cource, to work on the laptop, as there is a strong WIFI

There are large rooms for 690 Baht...

... and small (or normal siced) rooms for 590 Baht.

I took that room (as it was big enough for me alone) and I were satisfied completely.

As well as the bathroom is OK.

There is a little balcony for smookers.

The only critical point is the neigbourship to the parking lot of Centara and Central Plaza.
Up to the later evening you hear the securitypeople whistling.

But the nights they are silent.
When I come back to Udon Thani I will take my room in @home again!

Ok, checked in this morning at 0900.

Free WIFI, havent' had a chance to check out the speed yet.

Limited/no parking for the hotel..parked on the street.

Question: 790 baht room, according to the lady it's there best room (room # 406). Only stairs, don't mind walking 4 flights!!! Still from what I've read...........690 is their top room.....so not sure if she (older lady with glasses) ripped me off for 100 baht. Nice/clean.........but very small room, no smoking except on the out side balcony.

Ok for the price I guess (use to BKK rates).

Will have to check-out the WIFI speed, that'll determine if the hotel is worth a re-stay!!!

I stayed at the Home at Udon earlier this month and booked a Standard room for three nights. The room wasn't big by any means, though it was perfectly fine for two adults. The bathroom was well decked out, and the shower very powerful. The balcony was an added bonus too, especially for a smoker. The room had a small safe, and best of all, there was tea and coffee making facilities in the room too, ideal after a few beers the night before. The free Wi-Fi was very quick whenever I used it, and all in all, I rated the hotel as an excellent value place to stay. Its location is a massive bonus too. My only criticism, be it mild, is that the car parking space is very small.
