Hi traveller,

Yes, I have been there in october last year. I think it's a nice hotel, but only a few people know it is there. So, there are not many customers yet.
The location is along the traintrack and close to the UdonThani-KhonKaen motorway. About 150 meters from the Kumpawapi train station, and about 700 meters from the busstation.
But that means the hotel is situated about 6 or 7 kilometers from Kumpawapi town, so you will need transportation of your own or take the bus or samlor if you want to go into town.

It is a new hotel and the roomprices are around 700 or 800 bath. Staff is friendly.

The adress is:

KP-hotel
219 Udomsamukki road.
Pandon
Kumpawapi

Hi,
The KP Hotel in Kumphawapi is great. I have stayed there for two years. An end room (bigger) for two people is 720 Baht per night. There is a slight extra charge for credit cards. Very clean, great reataurant, good service, excellent laundry and pool. There are Tuk tuks nearby and if you don't mind a short walk there are a few places you can walk to. The trains passing didn't bother me at all. The only possible negative was being there during school break when there were tons of screaming kids at the pool. I think you will appreciate the comfort and value of the KP hotel. My Thai husband and I are opening our market in April in a small nearby village called Songpleay. We always recommend the KP hotel to friends.
