Udon Thani Irrigation Project

The original Udon Airport was located where the Udon Thani Irrigation Project is presently located prior to being moved to the present day location at Tambon Noang Khon Kwang. Is the irrigation project the one at Huai Luang Reservoir? I am currently researching and writing a publication of Udorn History. Please help if you can.

I have several contacts at Udon Thani but none have contacts with the History Museum. My search includes any information reguarding the building of Udorn Royal Thai Air Force Base during the 1950s.
