Suvarnabhumi Airport

Post by yorky » October 2, 2006, 2:46 am

The following link offers some good information about the new airport.

http://www.boxertravels.com/airport/index.htm

When arriving in Suvarnabhumi on an international flight can you get a connecting domestic flight to Udon Thani at the new airport or do you have to travel to Don Muang for the connecting flight?

Skytrain link expected to open in 2008 so what is the best mode of transport from new to old airport to get that really important connecting flight.

It's OK if you reside in Pattaya but not ideal for us Udonites. Will the cost of the domestic airfare rise if they do (or eventually) fly from the new airport.

:?:

I think you'll find, all flights from Bkk to Udon, now use the new airport... so you should be ok with your connecting flight.

How Udon into Bangkok new airport or the old one?

It sound like the answer will be the new one, so what transporation is available now. Seem like a long drive and if it is taxi any idea on costs?
