Suwanchart Phromchat - better known as "Diaw" - is always available to help people less fortunate than himself.
He helps the handicapped, elderly, wheelchair bound, amputees - you name it - by getting them to hospitals for their appointments.
He was pictured cradling a handicapped woman in his arms as well as an appreciative old grannie.
Diaw said that helping others gives him happiness. In fact if he died tomorrow he would die a happy man.
Things were not always so good for him and his life lessons have taught him the value of helping others. He told Thai Rath that he used to have suicidal thoughts and nearly killed himself several times.
But with the help of others he pulled through and now he wants to give back.
Through volunteering with the website of www.palangpandin.com he manages to do about six free runs for members of the public each day...............
