Nok Air adds another pair of flights into/out of Udon

Received via email a few minutes ago from Nok Air:

Greetings Valued Customers,

Nok Air is delighted to inform you that, we will operate new flights for Udon Thani (UTH). Flights detail are as below.

*DD9218 Departure Bangkok (Don Mueang) Time 19.45 Arrival Udon Thani Time 20.45
*DD9219 Departure Udon Thani Time 21.15 Arrival Bangkok (Don Mueang) Time 22.15

For January 13 – January 31, 2008
*The flights are operated on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday Only.

For February 1 – March 29, 2008
*The flights are operated on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday Only.

yes that is great news but it is a pitty that there are no flights at night time like about midnight.
which leads me to the next question does udon airport shut down at night?

The lights(some of them anyway) go out after last flight has closed its doors.

That 1945 hrs flight works well if you've flown in from London on Eva Air. Hopefully Nok will extend these trips beyond March 08.
