Airfare cost Thailand to Japan

Post by Miruku » July 15, 2006, 4:41 am

Are cheap fares/tours available from the LOS? I will be coming to Udon in late December and want to see the heavy snow in Kyoto Japan in mid January. I can buy a Thai return ticket from Melbourne to Osaka via Bangkok for Baht 17,220 more than the Melbourne to Udon fare, but I'm wondering if buying Bangkok/Osaka/Bangkok tickets or tours in LOS would be a cheaper/better proposition. I would appreciate any advice. Thanks.

Sorry Bubbles, the A$600 is just the additional Udon/Osaka/Udon fare on top of the A$1070 Mlb/Udon/Mlb fare for that time of the year. I use J&C Paradise travel which I have found to be the cheapest. I just wonder whether to book the entire trip with J&C or book the Udon/Osaka/Udon leg with a Thai agent if substantially cheaper.

If you can get hold of a copy of the Bangpost post or Nation newspapers, there are many travel agents who advertise tours from Thailand - most are packages and include hotels/transport etc. Japan is most certainly in their itinerarys. Many of them are 3/4 days or 3/4 night kind of things but there are also many who advertise purely the airfare. Usually amongst the cheapest you will find.
