New or Old ?

Post by dooley110 » September 17, 2006, 6:15 pm

I'll be coming by very soon. Can't wait for the Tigerair's new flights into UT anymore. Looks like that's not happening anytime soon.
I know Jetstar Asia is using the new airport. Not a problem. But I'm not sure if Nok Air is using the new or the old? I also understand the taxi fare from the new airport into BKK is 500bht. True?

Anyone withe the latest info?
My likely DOA is the 1st week of October.
BTW, will it be chilly in the evenings?

Thanks.

Enjoy now. Tomorrow may never come.

If you are talking about Bangkok, all NOK flights will be using the new airport from 1st October.

COLD in Bangkok - NEVER.

It will probably be a little cool in the evenings. I don't think most Thais will consider it chilly. I certainly won't.

As for the 500 Baht taxi fare - I would hope they are still using the meters. Otherwise, it will be a very serious case of abuse.

On the bright side, they might have the taxi stand at the terminal (in Bangkok) by the time of your arrival. Its way too bad they don't let tuk-tuks pick up passengers at the terminal in Udon.
