Lek Car Rental offer superb service IMHO... and all their cars/trucks (30+) are covered by 1st Class insurance.
They have several Mitsubishi Triton Plus pick-ups, but I would recommend you contact them to reserve one as soon as you can to avoid disappointment.
I've been using them for the past 7 or 8 years, and never had a bad experience.

Todd, I've used them twice and the service was excellent. They met me at the airport in Udon, I filled out a short form, gave them a deposit and I was on my way. When I was ready to turn the truck back in they came to my hotel and picked it up with the final payment. No complaints and only praise!

I've only had occasion to rent a car once in Udon, when I arrived back from the U.S. to find that my truck had been stolen from the airport. Called Lek from the airport, and they came right over with the pickup I had requested.

I have used Lek Car Rent on two occasions and both have been virtually problem free , I say virtually because we had a problem with one of the cars but quickly replaced with another .

Also another feather in their cap ... we were met at the airport at the time requested .

Nothing but praise for the employees of the company .

I will use them again this year if required .

I used them for 4 years prior to us buying a car 2 years ago. Fantastic service, vehicles as described and quality price so I can wholeheartedly recommend them.

The key for me is the insurance. I have been involved in a crash here. I was hit while stopped by three teenage girls piled on a motorbike going way too fast. Non-trivial damage. They admitted to the police that it was completely their fault and that they plowed into my car at full speed (no helmets, insurance or license, of course). The investigating officer determined that it was my fault and told me that he did that because the driver couldn't afford to replace her motorbike without the payment from my insurance company.

The "No Nonsense 1st Class Insurance" that Lek has makes a difference when there's a problem. It's not like back home where a usually impartial accident reconstruction police officer determines fault based on what s/he sees. Definitely worth renting from these guys.
