What doc's are required if your TG travels with you to Laos?

What documents are required for a Thai to enter Laos and for
how long? Is a passport needed or ID card?

Can you get the necessary documents in Udon?

If your girlfriend is staying for (up to) 3 days... she only needs her ID card, and no passport.

She'd either need to do a return trip, to get another 3 days, or have a passport.

get her a Thai passport.. then it's an easy stamp-in for 30 days. No muss, no fuss.. since you'll have to do the 30 day VOA, she'll be cooling her heels waiting for you to get through the various points processing the VOA..
