Used car sourcing and inspection service in Udon?

My wife currently spends most of her time outside Thailand. She wants to buy a used car for the family back in Udon - something like a Vios/Corolla c.฿250k. Anyone aware of a trusted used car sourcing and inspection service in Udon, who will seek out and inspect candidate vehicles for a fee?

I don't know if Ban Jig (ssponsor on here) would do it but he's bit of a clever chap when it comes to cars, I'd recommend his services if he was prepared to do it.

There's a Nissan march in on udmap.280,000b,16,000km.looked after by farang.with so low km it's nearly new..as long as it's got some service history I would think you wouldn't need help.just get receipt to say it's not been involved in accident,probably get a oil n filter service and off you go.the way to go if your unsure about the mechanics is to buy something with very low Kms on it.oh and don't buy off a Thai for sure,it'll end up in tears

if the car is first owner , and have his maintenance book filled and stamped by the garage , you will be ok , also what the mileage on the car is concerned , if it is a second hand dealer , even main dealer selling second hand , it all will be a shot in the dark as they have no scruples in turning back the mileage of a vehicle...so own knowledge of a car is needed or from a thrust full source , not some one who makes a deal with the seller behind your back ...if you know what i mean..

Totally agree,don't buy Thai when it comes to motors.trashed machines,money owed maybe.buy from first owner with history.clocking back a car here isn't against the law,it just to make car new,so ok.wouldnt even trust a Thai inspection from garage because he will be in for a greased palm guaranteed.they just can't help it.what we would call double scamming is really Thai culture in the los.
